A nice fence can make all the difference to a garden, fencing as many purposes from keeping children and pets in, keeping undesirables out, maybe your fence allows you a little privacy, or just to define your property.

For what ever reason you need a fence it should add to your enjoyment of the garden.

Here are a few examples of fencing.

 Post and Rail fencing like Feather Edge and Paling style are ideal if your garden is uneven or on a slope, post and rail fencing can be tailored if the ground while still leaving a straight top.

 Panel fencing can be used on slopes to with a gravel board with the top stepping down along the fence line, panel fences do tend to look better in flatter gardens.

Trellis and screens make a nice change for fencing, you could use a trellis instead of panel for a more open feel, you can incorporate them into other kinds of fencing just to break up the line.

please note we concrete our posts to a minimum 2' in the ground, there are other ways of fitting posts but we know from experience this is the best way, when fitting a panel or a rail to the post we use good quality screws (Not Nails) for a better fix, on feather edge or paling fencing we use ring shank galvanised nails from a nail gun this puts far less stress on the fence than hitting it with a hammer!
